FORGET TIBIM…Gospel Singer Ben Githae Counters Nasa With New Uhuruto Anthem Ndani Tena
Months ago, a young city politician Babu owino revolutionized a new word Tibim. Unknown to him, Tibim would soon become a viral word. Tibim is a Greek word that means revolution, political revolution.
Later, a famous Ohangla musician Engineer Onyi Jalamo, used the same Word to come up with a hit. Right now, is a popular song in the country as it elucidates the high expectations among supporters of the Opposition coalition, National Super Alliance (NASA) alongside its leaders.
Onyi Jalamo at an interview on a TV confirmed having produced the Tibim song for a local politician who is eyeing a county assembly seat in Nairobi. But realised it emerged with a huge following and fan base inspiring him to feature national leaders.
But now of late, a messiah has also been raised on Jubilees side. Ben Githae has dropped a new song for UhuRuto re-election to counter Nasa’s anthem. Githae’s song dubbed ‘Ndani Tena’ showcases the accomplishments of Uhuru’s government for the time he has been in power.
The song is expected to somehow cool Tibim and it’s already raising mixed reactions among Kenyans. One was heard saying ‘’….. Hii ni fake kabisa kuna watu huwa hawajui kuimba hata haileti shange kama TIBIM’’ and another answered ‘’….shame on you zaidi!-they sang facts not ndoboloz n tweaking!’’
The father of two ( Ben Githae) has repotedly said that his song is just a showcase for the accomplishments of Uhuru’s government for the time he has been in power and nothing else.
Ben Githae, has for long managed his private and music life very well such that he is a role model to many musicians. His album Mabataro gained him significant attention. Driven by the hugely popularity and much demand for his hit single `maya ni mabataro’ getting him serious crossover attention.
